Management
Wireless Edge was founded by Herb Woods, Sohail Rashid and Richard Lanzetta who have a combined 60 years of experience in the personal transportation industry. The principals have a long track record of success and led the founding of the computerized taxi dispatch industry in the 1980’s with Gandalf when they pioneered computerized dispatch and mobile data systems. They founded GMSI in 1990 as a spin-off from Gandalf and grew the company into the world industry leader in the 1990’s delivering reliable feature-rich systems to both small and large fleets. Their largest achievement was providing call-centre and dispatch software and mobile communications equipment to Comfort Taxi of Singapore with 12,000 cars.
